Santa Barbara Pde Bowen Queensland - Unbuilt

Known affectionately as the ABC site, Marina Bay tendered in 2007 to purchase this 26,000 sqm parcel of Council owned land located on the harbour front of Bowen in Northern Queensland. The concept design was widely acknowledged as the most outstanding scheme which unfortunately did not proceed due to a higher tenderer. It does show however Marina Bays ability to think outside the square to integrate public spaces with residential and commercial uses to create a vibrant living community.
